Dhaka, Nov. 14 -- Tawsif Rahman Sumon, son of Rajshahi Metropolitan Sessions Judge Abdur Rahman, has died from excessive bleeding caused by multiple stab wounds, according to the forensic team.

On Friday morning, a two-member team led by the head of the Forensic Department at Rajshahi Medical College informed reporters that Tawsif's body showed five stab injuries, three of which were deep.

One wound was on his right leg, another on the left, and a third had severed a major blood vessel, leading to fatal blood loss.

The postmortem examination at Rajshahi Medical College morgue concluded around 11am.
