Dhaka, Feb. 3 -- A charge has been filed against 10 people at the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) over the killings of seven people in Gazipur in 2016 after they were allegedly "framed as militants".

Prosecutor Gazi MH Tamim said the Prosecution Department of the ICT filed the charge on Tuesday.

The suspects in the case include former police chief AKM Shahidul Islam, Mohammad Javed Patyari, Md Asaduzzaman Mia, Md Monirul Islam (former chief of the Counterterrorism and Transnational Crimes unit), Harun Or Rashid (aka DB Harun) and 10 others.
