Dhaka, Jan. 31 -- At least 15 people have been injured in a clash between supporters of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Jamaat-e-Islami during election campaigning in Bhola's Borhanuddin Upazila.
The violence broke out on Saturday morning in Tobgi Union's Mulaipattan village, according to Borhanuddin Police Station chief Md Moniruzzaman.
Police said several of those injured were admitted to the Upazila Health Complex, while two Jamaat activists in critical condition were later transferred to Bhola General Hospital.
Among the injured were Tobgi Union Jamaat-e-Islami leader Maulana Abdul Halim, several party activists, and a number of BNP supporters.
