Dhaka, Dec. 26 -- The Election Commission (EC) has issued a gazette redefining the boundaries of four parliamentary constituencies in Pabna and Faridpur districts.
The four seats are Pabna-1, Pabna-2, Faridpur-2 and Faridpur-4.
The decision follows an order from the High Court division to revise the boundaries.
According to the gazette released on Wednesday, Pabna-1 (Electoral Area: 68) now covers Santhia Upazila, Bera Municipality of Bera Upazila, Hatulia Nakalia Union, New Barenga Union, Chakla Union and Kaitola Union.
Pabna-2 (Electoral Area: 69) comprises Sujanagar Upazila and the remainder of Bera Upazila, excluding Bera Municipality, Hatulia Nakalia Union, Notunvarenga Union, Chakla Union and Koitola Union.
