Dhaka, May 12 -- After the Eid-ul-Fitr and SSC examinations, the primary, secondary and higher secondary-level educational institutions in Bangladesh are going on an extended holiday.
They will remain closed for almost the entire first half of June owing to a combined Eid-ul-Azha and summer break this time.
The institutions returned to educational activities at the beginning of April following over a month-long holiday for Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr.
The SSC and equivalent examinations after the opening have also disrupted classes in educational institutions used as exam centres.
