Dhaka, Dec. 4 -- The Election Commission (EC) led by AMM Nasir Uddin is set to meet with the president on Dec 10 before announcing the schedule for the upcoming parliamentary election and the referendum.

Sharing the decision with bdnews24.com on Thursday, an election commissioner said: "The election schedule may be announced within a day or two of the meeting."

The EC had previously said the schedule for organising the 13th parliamentary election and the referendum in February would be announced in the second week of December. Before that, the commission has a meeting on Dec 7 over the schedule.
