Bangladesh, Sept. 5 -- The Election Commission (EC) has brought changes to the boundaries of 46 constituencies for the parliamentary polls.

On Thursday, the commission finalised the demarcation of all 300 electoral areas and published the gazette.

Boundaries of 254 constituencies have remained unchanged from the 12th parliamentary election, while the rest have undergone revisions.

The commission, led by Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin, released a draft of the 300 seats on Jul 30.

After resolving objections and recommendations through hearings, the final delimitation has been announced.
