Dhaka, Jan. 26 -- Eastern University has won the 10th Bangladesh Qualifying Round of the Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2026, defeating the University of Dhaka's Faculty of Law moot court team in the final round.

With the victory, Eastern University has qualified for the international rounds of the competition and will represent Bangladesh at the global stage.

The winning team included Sakib Khandaker as researcher, Zarin Sadaf Lopa and Parisha Mehejabin as oralists, and Md Sakib Sarkar as additional researcher. The team was coached by ABM Imdadul Haque Khan and Md Omar Faruk Tamim.
