Dhaka, Nov. 14 -- The driver of a bus parked in Manikganj's Shibaloy has suffered critical burn injuries after the parked vehicle was set on fire.

The incident occurred at 1:30am on Friday in the Falashatia Bus Stand area in front of The Holy Child School and College on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway, according to Manbendra Balo, chief of Shibaloy Police Station.

The injured driver, Tabej Khan, hails from the Baraibhikra area of Manikganj Sadar Upazila.

Locals say the driver was sleeping inside the parked bus when a group of criminals set fire to it around 1:30am. The fire spread instantaneously, burning the driver inside badly.
