Dhaka, Jan. 31 -- Products worth Tk 3.93 billion have been sold at the 30th edition of the Dhaka International Trade Fair, and export orders worth Tk 2.27 billion have been received, according to the organising body Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).

The information was shared at the closing ceremony of the fair at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal on Saturday.

The EPB also said product sales at the fair increased by 3.42 percent compared with last year.

The eight countries receiving export orders included Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.

Export orders to these countries covered versatile jute items, fabrics, electronics, beauty products, and packaged foods.
