Dhaka, Dec. 9 -- Dhaka College has suspended the operation of all its buses across every route until further notice after two vehicles were vandalised during clashes between students.

The college authority announced the decision through a notice published on its website on Tuesday. The statement, signed by Principal AKM Elias, said the measure was taken after "an unpleasant incident" in which two of the institution's buses were attacked and damaged.

The latest clash erupted on Tuesday, exactly a month after students of Dhaka College and Dhanmondi's Ideal College verbally agreed not to engage in any disputes or altercations -- an understanding reached on Nov 9 at a meeting brokered by New Market Police Station.
