Dhaka, Feb. 2 -- The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka is allowing students to submit forms for this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations for an extended period.

Students under this board can now complete the registration process and pay the required fees with a late penalty between Feb 2 and Feb 5.

Prof SM Kamal Uddin Haider, the board's controller of examinations, told bdnews24.com on Monday afternoon that the extension applies only to Dhaka board students and a formal notice has already been issued.

The SSC exams will begin on Apr 21 and continue until May 20.

Written exams will be held from 10am to 1pm, while practical examinations are scheduled from Jun 7 to Jun 14.
