Dhaka, June 28 -- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent test takers under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka will be allowed to enter exam centres earlier than usual to reduce delays and ease crowd-related disruption.

The board has directed all centre officers to implement this change immediately.

"On the first day, we noticed large gatherings of students and guardians outside centres, causing traffic jams and difficulties," said SM Kamal Uddin Haider, the exam controller of Dhaka board, speaking to bdnews24.com on Saturday.

"To avoid such trouble, officials have been told to allow entry from 8:30am."
