Dhaka, Dec. 27 -- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has completed the formal process to be registered as a voter, but it will take one more day for his name to be officially added to the voter list, according to the Election Commission (EC).

Speaking to reporters after Tarique left the EC building on Saturday, the commission's Secretary Akhtar Ahmed said: "Tarique Rahman, the acting chairman of the BNP, and his daughter Zaima Rahman have both submitted their voter registration forms today and completed the registration process here."
