Dhaka, June 10 -- The leaders of the Left Democratic Alliance (LDA) have reiterated their call for holding the general election by December this year to revive democracy.
In a media statement on Monday, the party said that if the interim government is sincere, the crucial reforms needed to hold free, fair, and acceptable elections within the timeframe can "certainly be carried out".
"It will also be possible to ensure clear progress in July-August massacre trials," it said.
