Dhaka, Feb. 3 -- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department, or BMD, sees days and nights getting warmer in February.
They are likely to be hotter than normal, the Met Office said in its forecast for the month on Sunday.
According to the forecast, the country will likely have less than normal rainfall in the month. The formation of any cyclone or low pressure is also unlikely in the Bay of Bengal.
In the first half of the month, a mild cold wave may sweep through the northern, western and northwestern parts of the country.
In addition, moderate or dense fog may occur in the river basins of the country and light or moderate fog elsewhere during the period.
