Dhaka, Jan. 2 -- Daffodil Group has announced a commitment to dedicate one-third of its net profit from 2026 onwards to the welfare of the people of Bangladesh.

The announcement was made during the Group's annual Family Day event at Daffodil Smart City on Friday.

The event was attended by over 6,500 members and senior leadership of the organisation.

The commitment will be formalised through an official agreement, signalling a shift from profit-focused operations to long-term social and national development.

Speaking at the event, Daffodil Group Chairman Sabur Khan said the initiative is not a conventional corporate donation but a long-term "nation-building investment".
