Dhaka, Dec. 8 -- Several former ministers and state ministers in the Awami League government are among the 16 suspects who have been produced before the International Crimes Tribunal in a case alleging crimes against humanity linked to the crackdown on last year's July Uprising.

The group was brought to the tribunal from jail around 9:45am on Monday.

Among them are former law minister Anisul Huq, former education minister Dipu Moni, former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, former textile and jute minister Golam Dastagir Gazi, former industries minister Amir Hossain Amu, former agriculture minister Abdur Razzaque, former shipping minister Shajahan Khan, Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon, JaSaD (Inu) President and former ...
