Dhaka, Nov. 24 -- A Dhaka court has ordered authorities to seize the income tax records of former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, who was recently sentenced to death for crimes against humanity, and his wife, Lutful Tahmina Khan.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Sabbir Faiz issued the order on Monday after accepting a petition from Mohammad Zainul Abedin, a deputy director at the Anti-Corruption Commission.

In his petition, Zainul alleged Tahmina amassed assets worth more than Tk 150 million beyond her known sources of income.
