Dhaka, April 21 -- A Dhaka court has ordered the freezing of seven bank accounts and 350,000 shares in the name of former state minister for disaster management Enamur Rahman.

The court also ordered the seizure of two cars worth Tk 14.6 million belonging to Enamur on Monday.

Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib issued the order on Monday following an application by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

ACC spokesperson Akhtarul Islam said the frozen shares included 350,000 shares of Enam Medical College Hospital, 10,000 shares of Enam Education and Industrial Village and 10,000 shares of Enam Cancer Hospital.
