Dhaka, Dec. 21 -- The court has granted bail to Abdul Hannan, a former owner of the motorcycle initially linked by the RAB to the fatal attack on Inqilab Moncho Convenor Shari Osman bin Hadi.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Hasan Shahadat issued the order following a hearing on Sunday.

Prosecution Sub-Inspector Masum Mia said Hannan's lawyer submitted the bail application, which the court approved.

On Dec 12, Hadi was attacked near the Bijoynagar Water Tank while travelling in a rickshaw. Two assailants on a motorcycle fired at him at close range and fled.

The bike, registered as Dhaka Metro La-54-6375, had previously belonged to Hannan. He was arrested on Dec 13 from Chand Udyan in Mohammadpur by the RAB and handed over to Paltan Polic...
