Dhaka, Oct. 28 -- The National Consensus Commission has proposed two alternative methods to provide both legal and institutional backing for implementing the constitutional reform provisions outlined in the July National Charter.

The methods were detailed in a letter the commission submitted on Tuesday to Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus, along with recommendations on how to operationalise the Charter's reform agenda.

According to the commission, "The government may adopt either of two alternative methods to implement and give legal validity to the constitutional reform issues included in the July National Charter 2025."
