Dhaka, Jan. 10 -- A cold wave is sweeping across large parts of Bangladesh, dragging nighttime temperatures down to 8.3degC in Tetulia, one of the lowest readings this season.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said the cold conditions are expected to continue through Sunday, with fog likely in several regions, particularly during the early morning hours.
The cold spell has gripped the Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions, as well as the districts of Jashore, Chuadanga, and Kushtia, the BMD said in its latest update.
