Bangladesh, Sept. 17 -- The Chinese visa office in Dhaka will be closed for eight days from Oct 1-8.

The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka shared the information in a post on its Facebook page.

"As per holiday schedule, the visa office will be temporarily closed from the 1st to the 8th of October and resume business from the 9th of October. We will work on the 26th of September and the 10th of October as regular working days," the post said.

Oct 1 marks the National Day of the People's Republic of China.
