Dhaka, Dec. 26 -- Two people, including a child, have been killed in a collision between an autorickshaw and three-wheeled vehicle transporting cement in Patuakhali's Dumki Upazila.

Two others were injured in the accident, which occurred around 9:30am on Friday in the Rajakhali area of the Pagla-Bauphal regional highway near Lebukhali's Payra Bridge, according to Dumki Police Station chief (OC) Md Selim Uddin.

The dead were identified as 6-year-old Robiul, and 65-year-old Ibrahim, both passengers on an autorickshaw.

The injured are Md Sumon Sardar, 25, and Abdul Kader, 50, residents of Jhilna and Kalta villages in Bauphal Upazila.
