Dhaka, March 10 -- A child from Magura, who was allegedly raped while visiting her sister's house, currently receiving treatment at Dhaka's Combined Military Hospital, or CMH, is on life support, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations, or ISPR.

The ISPR detailed the child's admission and ongoing medical condition in a statement on Monday night.

The statement said, "On Mar 8 at 6pm, the child was transferred to the CMH Dhaka paediatric ICU from Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a critical condition on life support. The child was completely unconscious at the time, with a blood pressure of 120/70 mmHg (with cardiac support), a heart rate of 118 beats per minute, and oxygen saturation at 96 percent."
