Dhaka, March 3 -- Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has called for the formation of a society where there will be no more unclaimed bodies.
Speaking at the inauguration of a building of Anjuman Mufidul Islam in Dhaka's Kakrail on Monday, he said: "We want a society where there will be no unclaimed bodies. That's 'our' goal as well."
Noting "Anjuman Mufidul Islam" as a unique institution for the burial of unclaimed bodies, Yunus said: "If they weren't there, we wouldn't know what happened to these bodies. Now we know they were given a dignified burial as they are there.
"I am very happy to be here. I've been hearing the name since childhood. A strange name and I didn't know any explanation, I just knew unclaimed bodies."
