Dhaka, June 29 -- A complaint has been filed with the International Crimes Tribunal over the killing of Chhatra Dal leader Md Nuruzzaman Jony in an alleged "crossfire" while in police custody.
Jony's father Yakub Ali filed the complaint with the International Crimes Tribunal's Chief Prosecutor's Office on Sunday.
Prosecutor BM Sultan Mahmud said that 62 people, including Awami League leader Saber Hossain Chowdhury and former Dhaka Metropolitan police commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia, have been named in the complaint.
Previously, a case was filed with the Khilgaon Police Station on Sept 3 over the incident that occurred 10 years ago, naming 62 suspects, including Saber.
