Dhaka, June 26 -- Steady fifties from Pathum Nissanka and Dinesh Chandimal have seen Sri Lanka off to an impressive start to their first innings on the second day in the Colombo Test against Bangladesh.
The Tigers were unable to find momentum at their turn in bat, posting 247 in the first innings.
In contrast, the hosts have looked comfortable at the crease with Lahiru Udara (40), Nissanka (93*), and Chandimal (54*) racking up the runs on Thursday at the SCC.
At tea, Sri Lanka stood at 190 for 1, trailing Bangladesh by 57 runs.
