Dhaka, Feb. 16 -- Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin will administer the oaths to candidates elected in the parliamentary polls.

From 10am on Tuesday, members of parliament and the Constitutional Reform Council will take their oaths in phases before the CEC.

Election Commission Secretary Akhtar Ahmed confirmed on Monday evening that the Parliament Secretariat had sent a letter specifying the date and timing for the ceremonies.

"Both oaths will be administered by the CEC," he said.

The swearing-in will take place in the parliament's Oath Hall, with party-affiliated and independent members swearing in separately.
