Dhaka, June 1 -- The Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh (CEAB) and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles (CCCT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in the textile and apparel sector.

The agreement is focused on joint exhibitions, trade promotion, advancing sustainable innovation in textile manufacturing and so on, the CEAB said in a statement on Saturday.

The signing ceremony took place at the CEAB office in Dhaka's Baridhara Diplomatic Zone.

The event coincided with the official visit of a high-level delegation from China to Bangladesh at the invitation of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), the statement read.
