Dhaka, Nov. 20 -- The caretaker government will make the future elections "structured and acceptable," believes BNP leader Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury.

The BNP Standing Committee member said that, in the absence of a caretaker government system, people in Bangladesh had to sacrifice a lot and their right to vote was snatched away, creating a reign of bad governance, oppression and torture. He hopes that the establishment of a caretaker government system would the future elections "structured and acceptable."

Khosru made the remark in response to the questions from journalists after inaugurating a free medical camp organised by Kamal Mediaid on Dhaka University campus around 11:30am on Thursday.
