Dhaka, Dec. 3 -- Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has visited BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at Evercare Hospital.

His motorcade entered the hospital at 7:07pm on Wednesday. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir received him.

The chief advisor was then taken to the fourth-floor critical care unit, where Khaleda is being treated under the supervision of a special medical board.

Khaleda's personal physician, Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, said Yunus stood beside her bed in the CCU for a short while and offered prayers for her recovery. Dr Zafor Iqbal later briefed him on her latest condition.
