Dhaka, Jan. 15 -- Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government, is scheduled to meet with Tarique Rahman, the chairman of the BNP, on Thursday.
The meeting will be held at the State Guest House Jamuna, the official residence of the chief advisor, according to a senior official in the Chief Advisor's Office.
The meeting between the head of the government and the BNP chief will be held in the evening, the source said.
They, however, did not specify what topics were on the agenda for the discussion.
Tarique and Yunus had held a private meeting for an hour and a half at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Jun 13 last year.
Immediately after the meeting, Yunus announced that the general election would be held in February 2026...
