Dhaka, May 23 -- A passenger bus has veered out of control and fallen into a ditch in Tangail's Kalihati Upazila, killing two and injuring at least 10 others.
The accident took place around 4pm on Friday on the Tangail-Jamalpur Highway, said Sub-Inspector (SI) Kamrul Hasan of Elenga Highway Police Outpost.
The deceased are S Alam, 70, a resident of Mirzapur Upazila, and Abdus Salam, 45, a resident of Ghatail Upazila.
The names and identities of the injured could not be immediately ascertained. They were taken to Tangail Sadar Hospital.
