Dhaka, May 30 -- Amid adverse weather conditions, the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has pushed 13 people across the Matua border in Feni.
The incident took place in the early hours of Friday.
Mosharraf Hossain, captain of BGB-4 Feni Battalion, confirmed that Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel stationed at the Feni border detained the individuals and handed them over to Chhagalnaiya Police Station.
According to the BGB, the BSF initially blindfolded and bound the 13 Bangladeshi nationals before bringing them to the border.
Taking advantage of the stormy weather, the BSF then untied them and discreetly pushed them into Bangladeshi territory.
