Dhaka, Nov. 20 -- A crude bomb have exploded in front of former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal's residence on Dhanmondi Road No. 5 Road in Dhaka.
Police confirmed the incident occurred shortly after 12:30am on Thursady at the main gate of the house.
Sub-Inspector Md Shahjalal of Dhanmondi Police Station told bdnews24.com that it was unclear who planted the explosive.
He added no casualties were reported, saying: "Around 1:15am, we went to the site and repeatedly rang the doorbell, but there was no response from inside.
Officer Shahjalal said, "Some locals mentioned that the law secretary is presently staying in the former minister's residence. I could not confirm this."
