Dhaka, Nov. 28 -- BNP nominated candidate for Bogura-4 (Kahaloo-Nondigram) Md Mosharraf Hossain has been accused of forging an undergraduate certificate.

On Thursday afternoon, following a hearing, a Natore Court judge assigned the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to investigate the case, according to Masud Rana, lawyer for the plaintiff.

The case was filed by Masud Ali of Singra Upazila. Mosharraf has denied the allegations.

According to the complaint, Masud was a BSS student under the National University in the 1993-94 academic year, bearing registration number 212493 and exam roll 136869. He sat for the exam once, failed, and did not retake it.
