Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- The BNP has kicked off its nationwide programme of 64 districts over nine days with events in six districts on Wednesday.

Party programmes will be held in Khulna, Lalmonirhat, Sirajganj, Brahmanbaria, Sunamganj, and Patuakhali on Wednesday afternoon.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, "Our rally programme starts from today. Rallies are scheduled in six districts on the first day."

"I have been informed from the districts that all preparations for the rallies are complete. Some of the senior leaders, including the Dhaka Standing Committee members have reached the respective districts to join the rallies while others are on their way."
