Dhaka, March 6 -- BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed hope to work more closely with development partners in the coming days with foreign diplomats based in Dhaka.
He said, "The way forward is clear - a speedy return to democracy through a free and fair election."
At the Westin Hotel in Dhaka on Sunday, Fakhrul and party Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury shared Iftar with British High Commissioner Sarah Cooke, former US deputy head of Mission John J Danilovich, Pakistani High Commissioner Syed Ahmed Maroof, and Turkish Ambassador Ramis Sen.
