Dhaka, Feb. 17 -- BNP lawmakers have decided not to accept duty-free cars or government plots after taking oath as members of the 13th national parliament.
The decision was taken on Tuesday during the party's first parliamentary meeting following the swearing-in ceremony, according BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan.
Although newly elected BNP MPs have been sworn in as parliamentarians, they have refused to take oath as members of the Constitution Reform Council.
The decision was announced before the oath ceremony by BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed, who said it was taken under the instruction of party Chairman Tarique Rahman.
