Dhaka, Dec. 27 -- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has paid tribute at the grave of Osman Hadi, the slain convenor of the cultural and political platform Inqilab Moncho.

The BNP leader visited Hadi's grave around 11:30am on Saturday at the mausoleum complex near the Dhaka University Central Mosque. After laying a wreath and offering prayers, Tarique paid his respects at the grave of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.

Around 11:41am, Tarique left for the Election Commission headquarters in Agargaon to enrol on the voter list.

Tarique's motorcade left his Gulshan residence around 10:40am. Unlike the previous two days, when he travelled in a bulletproof bus, he arrived on campus in a white SUV.
