Dhaka, Feb. 25 -- Abdullah Al Noman, vice chairman of the central BNP, a former minister, and freedom fighter, has died.
He passed away in Dhaka around 6am on Tuesday, said the party's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
The 80-year-old veteran politician. had been suffering from old age complications for a long time. He leaves behind a wife, a son, and a daughter.
His personal assistant Nurul Azim Hiru said that Noman fell ill in the morning at his house in Dhanmondi. He was rushed to Square Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
