Dhaka, Jan. 30 -- BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has reached the stage at Rangpur Collectorate Eidgah Ground.
Earlier on Friday, he paid respects at Abu Sayed's grave in Pirganj before proceeding to the rally site, taking nearly an hour and forty-five minutes to navigate through crowds of party supporters along the way.
On the second day of his tour to the north, Tarique travelled by road from Bogura to Rangpur.
From midday, supporters began gathering at the Eidgah ground, carrying small processions, banners featuring the Sheaf of Paddy symbol, and candidates' portraits.
The rally commenced at 4:30pm with a recitation of the Quran.
