Dhaka, Jan. 20 -- BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has met Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander Grigoryevich Khozin at his office in Gulshan.

The meeting took place on Tuesday afternoon, with BNP Joint Secretary General Humayun Kabir, Press Secretary Saleh Shibli, advisory council member Mahadi Amin and International Affairs Secretary Rashedul Haque also present.

According to the chairman's office, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Russia and exploring new areas of cooperation.

The ambassadors of Sweden, Norway and Denmark also held separate meetings with Tarique.
