Dhaka, Feb. 6 -- Photojournalist Muhammad Mostafigur Rahman, head of news photography at bdnews24.com, has won the first prize in the energy category of the "Echoes of the Earth: Photography for the Planet" competition.

The awards were presented at a ceremony on Friday morning at the Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium of the National Press Club.

The photography exhibition is jointly organised by "Dhoritry Rokkhay Amra (DHORA) and the Bangladesh Photojournalist Association (BPJA) to raise public awareness on climate risks and environmental protection.
