Dhaka, Jan. 27 -- A bank employee has been crushed between two buses along Dhaka's Badda Link Road.

Witnesses and police said the accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when buses from Raida Enterprise and Victor Paribahan were "racing" each other.

The victim, Abul Kashem Azad, 34, worked at the Khilkhet branch of United Commercial Bank.

Originally from Nekdi village in Chandpur's Faridganj, he lived in Ashkona, Dakshinkhan.

According to his colleague Iftekhar Hossain, Azad was carrying bank documents from Khilkhet to the Gulshan branch.

After getting off a bus at Badda, he was struck while crossing the road and became trapped between the two vehicles.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead....
