Dhaka, Nov. 20 -- The government has appointed two British lawyers of Bangladeshi origin as unpaid advisor and envoy to the ICT.

An announcement from the Office of the Chief Prosecutor on Thursday confirmed the appointments of Afzal Zami Syed-Ali and Muhammad Saif Uddin Khaled.

The notice said the law ministry has appointed Syed-Ali as special prosecutorial advisor to the chief prosecutor of the ICT for one year, without remuneration.

Khaled has similarly been appointed as the prosecution's global ambassador for the same one-year unpaid term.
