Dhaka, Jan. 5 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed that its decision not to send the team to the T20 World Cup in India was taken "in consultation with the government".
Whether that consultation amounted to advice or a strict directive remains a subject of speculation. What is clear, however, is that the choice was not solely the board's: the government played a decisive role.
