Dhaka, Oct. 8 -- Bangladesh has recorded three more dengue-related deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the tally of deaths to 220.
Another 700 patients were admitted to hospitals over the past 24 hours, pushing the year's total hospitalisations to 52,104.
According to the health directorate, two of the three fatalities occurred at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, while the other died at the DNCC Dedicated COVID-19 Hospital.
Among them, one was male and two were female, aged 26, 55, and 2.
September saw the highest number of dengue-related hospital admissions, with 15,866 patients admitted and 76 deaths recorded. The first eight days of October have already seen 4,762 hospitalisations and 22 fatalities.
